The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is currently conducting a review of the Cosmetology program to determine if the program needs any changes. This program is found in Title 16, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 83. During this review, TDLR will be determining if the rules should be re-adopted as they currently exist, revise any the existing rules, or repeal the rules. Any one potentially impacted or interested in any changes is encouraged to review the Notice of Intent and current rules.
Comments can be submitted to erule.comments@tdlr.texas.gov and must be received by TDLR by January 12, 2015.
